VISION
At Gildersome Primary School, we want our children to have an understanding of the role that science and inspirational scientists play in our everyday lives in a meaningful context.
We want children to be scientists - to have relevant, hands-on, practical experiences that engage children, encourage them to be curious, inquisitive and ask questions.
We want science to help children to know more about the world around them whilst capturing the children’s interests.
Lessons should be inclusive, fun and challenging and build on current knowledge and skills.
