Really Useful Website!

Here is a link to a really useful website:
https://practicalaction.org/schools/home-learning/?utm_source=Practical%20Action%20Limited&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=11507259_STEM%20Matters%2027042020&utm_content=Home%20learning&dm_i=6WS,6UN23,SBDK1T,RH274,1
STEM stands for Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The website provides lots of exciting activities to really challenge the children. Each activity links to areas of the formal curriculum in the UK and gives children the opportunity to learn about real world issues.
STEM challenges engage children in developing their own solutions for real life problems. For example the Floating garden challenge invites children to make a model of a garden that floats so that farmers can grow crops on flooded land.
They also provide home learning guides to support parents.
Why not have a look and see what you think. Let me know if you have a go at any of the challenges. We'd love to hear how you get on.
